Flaxseed oil has been in human nutrition for more than 9,000 years, and there is evidence to locate the first human flaxseed in edible oil in Syria since then. It is also said to have been among the first superfoods grown by man. That puts a lot of weight on the shoulders of such a delicate flower, doesn’t it?

In other words, the word of our forefathers says that flaxseed oil has many health benefits. It is par excellence a natural product, extracted by cold pressing the seeds of the flax plant (Linum Usitatissimum).

For children under 18, a visit to the doctor is recommended before including flaxseed oil in the diet.

Flaxseed oil is not indicated for consumption by pregnant or lactating women. There were changes in metabolism or even the risk of premature birth.

Precautions and side effects
